Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23/07/2026

Hello Hello Studio (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates this website and sells digital products, including website templates and related design templates (the “Products”). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By purchasing from us or using this website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Name and email address (at checkout, or when subscribing to our newsletter)
  • Billing address and payment details (processed securely by our payment providers — we do not store your full card details)
  • Any information you submit via contact forms, enquiries, or email correspondence with us

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic website usage data (e.g. pages visited, general location, browser/device type) via our website host and any analytics tools we use
  • Cookies used for website functionality and, where applicable, marketing purposes (see Section 5)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfil your purchase, including delivering digital products and providing access where required
  • Communicate with you about your order (confirmations, access details, support)
  • Send marketing emails about new products, features, and offers — only if you’ve opted in to receive these
Improve our products, website, and customer experience
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations (including sales tax/VAT/GST requirements across the regions we sell into)
  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Who We Share Your Information With

We share information with a limited number of third-party service providers who help us run our business, including:

  • ThriveCart — our checkout and payment processing platform
  • Stripe/PayPal  — payment processing
  • Kit (ConvertKit) — our email marketing platform, used only if you’ve opted in to receive marketing emails
  • Squarespace — website hosting, and template access delivery for squarespace website template purchasers
  • Google Analytics

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their specific function and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We do not permit them to use your information for any purpose beyond providing services to us.

Creative partners and collaborators. From time to time, we run co-branded promotions with independent creative partners and collaborators (for example, photographers or other creators we work with on specific products or launches). If you opt in to receive marketing communications that include content from these partners, your name and email address may be shared with the relevant partner(s) so they can send you their own communications directly. These partners are independent businesses, not service providers acting on our behalf, and are responsible for their own handling of your information once shared. You can opt out of communications from a specific partner, or from partner communications generally, at any time — see Section 6 for details.

4. International Data Transfers

Because we sell to customers in Australia, the EU, the UK, and other regions, your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own, including the United States (where some of our service providers are based). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.

5. Cookies

Our website may use cookies to support core functionality and, where enabled, to understand how visitors use our site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect some site functionality.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you’re located, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time (via the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly) — this includes opting out of communications from a specific creative partner while still receiving emails from us directly, or opting out of partner communications altogether
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your information
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
  • EU/UK residents: these rights are provided under the GDPR/UK GDPR. Australian residents: these rights are provided under the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, including meeting our legal, accounting, and tax reporting obligations. Marketing email data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, and we rely on reputable third-party providers (ThriveCart, Kit, Squarespace, and our payment processors) who maintain their own security standards. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of our website or products after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
