Hello Hello x Tess Guinery

It is with much joy and excitement that we can now finally reveal our first poster collaboration! We recently teamed up with the queen of creativity, Tess Guinery to create a mini collection of floral posters, “Just Because” and Pink Nostalgia.

Tess is a designer, stylist and creative dreamer currently residing in QLD. Her wild imagination and adventurous heart fill her instagram feed with gorgeous, colourful imagery and when it came to choosing our first poster collaboration we knew it needed to be her!

Now two of her amazing floral creations are available in poster form and they couldn’t be a better fit! The huge scale of the posters really bring her imagery to life; with the flowers practically dancing off the walls they’re likely to brighten your mood as much as they brighten your walls.

Firstly lets meet “Just Because”; “She was created ‘Just because’. It’s true that some of the greatest ideas come when we let ourselves play. We hope that “Just because” allows you to find playfulness in every part of your day. Pick up a paintbrush, dance to that song, pick some flowers or write a poem, life was made to be beautiful! ‘Just because’ is a daily reminder of creative playfulness.” – Tess

Now let’s meet Pink Nostalgia; “Her dreamy pink hues were created with almond milk and dusty pink paint, the daisies, a gift from a lover. She was created on a summers afternoon when a creative breeze swept through the windows unannounced and begged to dance in colour” – Tess

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

Pink Nostalgia and “Just Because” are both A0 posters and are available NOW for just $80 via our poster shop.

ur place

The legends at ur place have more style than anyone we know. Shopping in their gorgeous shop is always exciting (and dangerous for the wallet) with new and different finds on every surface. Our goal was for the website to be an extension of their beautiful shop, with the online browsing experience to be as close to the in-store experience as possible, and just as enjoyable.

Check it out for yourself now: urplace.com.au
(and don’t say we did warn you about your wallet!)

The Messengers Global

The Messengers Global are a creative, nomadic duo on a mission to connect people and stories all over the world.

Inspired by the rubber stamps used in post offices and in passports comes a logo that is about connecting; people, messages and stories, with an aesthetic that captures the heart of being on the ground, in the lives of locals and sharing stories that matter. It’s bold, confident and makes an impact without being aggressive.

Brodie & Co

The first instalment of the new brand for Brodie & Co, makers of beautiful wooden bath caddies and designers of lovely leather cushions. With big dreams of markets and trade shows on the horizon they wanted to step up their branding to truly reflect their style and to get ready for the world of custom packaging (swoon). It’s simple, monochrome and slightly edgy, perfect for transferring to a wooden branding iron and leather stamp.

Cheeky Reubens

Cheeky Reubens are a husband and wife team that create and sell amazing plug in pendant lights. With a growing list of wholesalers they were looking to step up their game so we worked with them on a complete rebrand; including a refreshed website using the shopify platform and some new packaging that would make an impact on the shelves.

Knowing their passion for simple and industrial design, the brand we created for them is clean and bold with a hint of playfulness. Their name stems from a nickname that relates to their mutual-ginger-hair-heritage and so it was only fitting to have a bit of fun with their logo and include custom drawn outlines of their hairstyles.

The packaging was our favourite part; with solutions for their everyday pendant range, their various sized caged pendants and their premium hand-crafted concrete pieces. Focussing on impact, versatility and efficiency we created clear stand-up pouches with custom labels for the everyday range, a custom printed drawstring bag for the various sized cages, and a custom printed tube that emulates the shape of their concrete range so it fits and protects them perfectly (plus looks friggen cool if we do say so ourselves).

To see their amazing pendants in action check out their website here www.cheekyreubens.com

Michael Gray

It’s not often that you get to do the branding for your best mate… especially one as talented as Gray is. He’s generous, he’s passionate, he’s crazy and he’s a damn good photographer (but luckily his photos make that pretty obvious). With so many photographers out there, the challenge for us was showing brides and grooms all the intangibles outside of the quality of his photos that make him incredible.

So we concentrated on building a brand that was simple (with an almost non-existent logo), to the point and real; putting the focus on his personality with casual text and his photos with a massive opening feature and huge blog post images.

Then to show everyone the real Gray we teamed up with Andy from The Wanderers to make a video. With Andy’s footage we created a short video as a bit of an intro into what it’s like to know Michael Gray.

If you haven’t seen his website or video yet you can check out both here: www.michaeldavidgray.com
